Truth told, I’m kinda loving the Insta reels but not doing them the way I need to in order to get followers — the algorithm etc. But it’s a nice break from writing.
I am also working on a memoir project and have started an IG and Substack platform specifically for that. I will head over and follow you. Feel free to do the same. Good luck with your project - lets share along the way - hopefully our books will be side by side at the book store someday!
BTW — I have fallen in love with Substack and now loathe IG, but I know I need to keep some form of presence there and "play the game" (barf emoji)
Your area of focus is so much of what my memoir focuses on. I think every Gen X woman carries the BS of cultural, familial and religious conditioning and by now (50 for me!) has come to ENOUGH — in every sense of the word. Just followed you and can’t wait to read more!
